The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Benue State, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia has promised to Bring back the Garri processing factory and also complete work on Igumale Cement factory.

Fr. Alia also promised to liaise with the National Boundary Commission (NBC) to demarcate the true boundaries between Benue state and her neighbouring states of Taraba, Nasarawa, Cross River, Ebonyi and Enugu.

He made the promisesTuesday, February 14, 2023 while addressing large number of supporters at Igumale, Okpoga and Otukpa in Ado local government area of Benue State.

Fr. Alia who talked on poor roads network in the area, assured the people of his willingness to build and repair roads in the state with a view to bringing the desired social, cultural and economic changes.

He continued “I need a connect to function properly and that’s why I’m inviting you to see what you can do for our well-being and the well-being of our dear nation by voting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.

After paying homage to traditional rulers in each local government visited, the Benue APC campaign team had a brief interface with trade union groups, during which Fr. Alia acknowledged the role of civil service in nation building, regretting however that, some leadership in the state has failed to acknowledge the role of civil servants and has thus relegated them to the background.

Fr. Alia promised to make payment of salaries and welfare of civil servants a top priority when he becomes the Governor of the state.

In their separate remarks, the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon. Barr. Sam Ode, the Benue South APC Senatorial Candidate, Comr. Dan Onjeh, the House of Representatives Candidate for Ado/Okpoku/Ogbadibo, Chief Philip Agbese, amongst other candidates expressed confidence in the candidature of Fr. Alia and appealed to their people to vote APC from top to bottom.

The APC campaign tour of the 23 local government areas commenced Monday, February 13, 2023 with a first visit to Obi and Oju followed by a visit to Ado, Okpoku and Ogbadibo.
