In fulfillment of the orders of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which fixed Thursday, May 26, 2022 for the conduct of the Governorship and House of Assembly party primaries, the Benue State Chapter of the APC desires to alert aspirants under our great party, teeming members and, most critically, the elected delegates, that the planned primary elections would be conducted throughout the State and Federal constituencies as well as Senatorial districts using the direct mode of primary elections.

Members of the APC family are asked to go back to the wards where they are registered to help choose their representatives at the primary.

We encourage the party faithful to remain peaceful and law-abiding. If someone or a group does something on purpose to undermine or slow down the process, the party will not hesitate to make sure that those who did wrong face the consequences they deserve.

Members of the APC and people who like to cause trouble should know that the security agencies have been directed to make sure the elections are free, fair, and credible, as quoted by the party officials.  We encourage party members, and teeming supporters of Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia to remain peaceful in their actions and elect the candidates of their choice.
