Conclusion

This Strategic Development Plan for a Greater Benue addresses specific challenges in fundamental governance issues that the current Benue State administration has not adequately addressed during its tenure.

It highlights the proposed strategies we intend to execute when we take office in 2023 to fix the challenges. The strategic plan specifies the scale of the tasks involved, which is an essential attribute.

Our intervention’s main policy goal is to rejuvenate Benue State’s economy by maximizing the state’s diverse potential for creating wealth, cultivating the private sector, and improving the welfare of our people. As a result, policies and action plans to attain this aim have been recommended.

We will restore public confidence in our efficient delivery skills and abilities by working together with ministries, agencies, and the corporate sector to make our vision of a Greater Benue a reality.

One might question where all the money to fund this master plan will come from. It will be funded through a combination of direct state government funding, private sector investments and concessions, project financing, public-private partnerships, grants from national and international development finance institutions (DFIs), federal government and DFI counterpart funding, and utilizing alternative financial mechanisms made available by the federal government, such as the infrastructure tax credit scheme, the infrastructure fund, and so on.

Increasing our financial access to the numerous federal government investment initiatives would provide additional infrastructure funding.

The state government will have better access to the capital market with a good credit rating.

It is now time to move away from failure and embrace development. We cannot continue to vote or support candidates based on emotions. It is critical to support and vote for someone who has a proven track record of accomplishments over the years. I present myself, not because I am a priest, but because my vast knowledge and experience in the private and public sectors have provided me with deep understanding and the capacity to understand our people’s numerous challenges and provide sustainable solutions.

It is our collective responsibility as Benue State indigenes to rewrite or change the socio-economic narrative for ourselves and future generations.

I therefore ask all the good people of Benue, both at home and in the diaspora, regardless of party affiliation, religion, or ethnicity, to join the Yes Father political movement and support our creative and innovative ideas that will move Benue forward.

Together, we are unstoppable!

Our intervention’s overall policy thrust is to rejuvenate the economy of Benue State by maximizing our diverse potentials for creating wealth, cultivating the private sector, and improving the welfare of our people. As a result, policies and action plans to attain this aim have been recommended.
