In a move to enhance disaster response and emergency management in Benue State, Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has appointed James Aondoakaa Iorpuu as the Acting Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
The announcement was made by Sir Tersoo Kulas, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
Effective immediately, Iorpuu assumes this crucial role, bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to the task of overseeing emergency management efforts within the state. Prior to his appointment, Iorpuu served as the Director of Sports at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development.
