• Fr. Alia Pays Condolence Visit To Governor Sule of Nasarawa State

The 2023 Guber Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia, PhD, paid a condolence visit to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, in his home town of Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area.

The visit came after the governor’s eldest son, Alhaji Hassan Sule, passed away last Friday, January 27th, 2023, after a brief illness.

Fr. Alia expressed his sincere condolences to the governor and the people of Nasarawa State, acknowledging that the loss of a child is one of life’s most painful experiences. He prayed for comfort and strength for Governor Sule, the deceased’s family, and all those affected by the loss.

He said “It is with heavy hearts that we offer our deepest condolences to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and his family.

The loss of a child is a pain that no parent should ever have to bear, and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

We stand with the governor and his family in their grief, and may they find strength and comfort in the love and support of those around them”

Governor Sule expressed heartfelt gratitude for Fr. Alia’s compassionate visit and acknowledged the immense love and support the Benue State people have shown towards Fr. Alia.

Governor Sule confidently predicted Fr. Alia’s victory in the forthcoming elections and implored him to place the interests of the people of Benue as a top priority in his administration when elected. 

Fr. Alia was accompanied by several notable figures, including the Deputy Guber Candidate for Benue APC, Dr. Sam Ode, MNI, former Nigeria’s Ambassador to Russia, Prof. Steve Ugba, the Chief Imam of Benue State, Dr. Suleiman Habib, Sheik Ibrahim Aliu, Hassan Dan Laraba, and Alhaji Dash, among others.
