Rev. Dr. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, yesterday picked up the expression of interest and nomination forms to vie for the Benue gubernatorial election under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking to journalists after obtaining the form in Abuja, Fr. Alia said the journey to end extreme poverty, unemployment, non-payment of salaries and pensions, underdevelopment, herdsmen-farmer conflicts, thuggery, etc in Benue State has started.

He reaffirmed his commitment towards a better and more organized state where the rule of law will reign supreme, quality infrastructure will be provided, employment and sustainable empowerment given to the good people of Benue State.

Fr. Alia urged the Benue masses to key in on the divine mandate and that the days of bad leadership, corruption, recklessness and deceit are almost over.
